Appeals Court Backs Judge Who Barred Unsealing in Patent Case

The Electronic Frontier Foundation was too slow to seek unsealing of legal briefs filed in an East Texas patent case relating to whether certain patents owned by Entropic Communications LLC were essential to a technology standard, the Federal Circuit ruled.
