The creator of a mobile app for tracking wildfire information urged a court to block software firm Intterra Inc.'s planned May release of the AWARECA public safety app commissioned by California’s Forestry and Fire Protection Department.
Data analyst Rachael Brady, a former Cal Fire dispatcher who made her Wildfire Aware app after her family home was lost in a blaze, and her company Analytical Moose LLC said in an April 3 motion for a preliminary injunction that the Intterra launch would be an existential threat to her app if allowed to go forward.
