Anker Innovations Sued in Seattle Over Wall Charger Patents

A company associated with a husband-and-wife team of inventors sued Anker Innovations Co., alleging the Chinese electronics manufacturer infringed three wall-charger patents.

Voltstar Technologies Inc. claimed that five cube-shaped Anker wall charger products and one wireless charging phone stand infringe its patents in a complaint filed Thursday in federal court in the US District Court for the Western District of Washington.

Anker Innovations, a Chinese company with offices in a Seattle suburb, and two related companies—Fantasia Trading LLC, which manages its businesses, and product manufacterer Anker Technology Corp.—infringed US Patent Nos. RE48,794, 7,910,833, 7,960,648, according to the ...
