Amtrak was hit with a lawsuit alleging its train traffic control systems at Pennsylvania Station Central Control in Manhattan and elsewhere infringe two Railware Inc. patents for safety technology requiring the cooperation of controllers and track workers to unblock a section of track.
In its lawsuit filed Wedneday at the US District Court for the Southern District of New York, Railware is seeking money damages to compensate it for past and potential future infringement, or injunctive relief to prevent it.
