Amgen Owes $20 Million in Antibody-Production Tech Patent Trial

Amgen Inc. and its Teneobio Inc. unit must pay Harbour Antibodies BV $20.2 million after a federal jury found that Teneobio’s use of a transgenic rodent platform infringed a patent for antibody-production technology.

Teneobio’s use of the UniRat Platform to produce heavy chain-only antibodies infringed claim 2 of US Patent No. 10,906,970, jurors said.
