The American Arbitration Association–International Center for Dispute Resolution said Wednesday that it is rolling out an AI arbitrator for documents-only construction cases in November.
The AI arbitrator was trained on actual arbitrator reasoning from AAA construction cases and calibrated with human arbitrator input, it said. The tool will evaluate claims, generate recommendations, and prepare draft awards that are reviewed by human arbitrators before being finalized, ensuring trust and due process.
