Amazon, Yeti Team Up in Counterfeiting Case Against Sellers

Amazon.com Inc. and Yeti Coolers LLC jointly sued the two owners of Amazon sellers “The Cyber Bargain Portal,” “Gadsen Flags in USA,” and others in Seattle federal court Thursday for allegedly selling counterfeit Yeti Rambler drinkware.

Amazon has been pressured by Congress and others to take stronger measures against counterfeiting on its site. It launched a new counterfeit crimes unit and partnered with the luxury brand Valentino to file a similar joint counterfeiting suit earlier this year.
