Amazon Sued Over Use of ‘Love Zone’ Trademark in ‘Cross’ Series

A longtime New York radio host accused Amazon Studios LLC of infringing the trademark of his show “The Love Zone” in its crime TV series “Cross.”

Maurice Watts, known as “The Voice,” said Amazon and Paramount Television Studios LLC incorporated “The Love Zone” into a seven-minute scene, the Oct. 17 complaint in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York said. Watts said that after the release of the third episode on Amazon Prime, he received congratulations on the presumed collaboration.
