Amazon Settles With Porn Company In ‘Fire TV’ Trademark Lawsuit

Amazon.com Inc. settled a lawsuit that alleged its Fire TV video streaming device infringed the trademark of a pornography company’s streaming service, called FyreTV.

Wreal LLC, an adult entertainment company, sued Amazon in April 2014 when the e-commerce giant launched its on-demand streaming product. The parties are still in the process of finalizing a “confidential” written settlement agreement and plan to file dismissal paperwork within 45 days, according to a notice filed by both parties on Tuesday in the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
