Amazon Settles LightGuide Suit Over Assembly Patent Technology

LightGuide Inc. and Amazon.com Inc. settled a patent infringement lawsuit over technology that provides visual indicators for assembly operations.

The companies sought a stay in the case and plan to file a motion to dismiss with prejudice, according to Tuesday’s filings in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. The brief did not offer details of the settlement, but said the parties will bear their own costs and attorney’s fees.
