Amazon, Patent Owner End Case Over App’s 3D Interior Design Tool

An Amazon.com Inc. unit and AR Design Innovations LLC agreed to end a patent suit accusing the retail giant’s View in Your Room augmented reality feature of infringing a 3D interior design patent.

Amazon.com Services LLC and AR Design jointly dismissed all claims with prejudice, according to their stipulation of dismissal filed Monday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Judge Rodney Gilstrap hasn’t yet issued an order.
