Amazon Patent Infringement Suit Can Remain In Texas, Judge Says

Amazon.com Inc. failed to move a case to its home state of Washington over allegations that it infringed three patents dealing with systems which provide visual indicators for assembly operations.

LightGuide Inc. defeated Amazon’s request to dismiss or transfer its claims out of Texas when Judge Robert W. Schroeder III of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas adopted a magistrate judge’s recommendation to deny Amazon’s motion.
