Amazon.Com, Inc., has skirted a patent lawsuit over Dungeons & Dragons gaming travel accessories brought last year by AP Global, Inc.
The retail manufacturer sued both Amazon and Guilt-Free Gaming, LLC, in Texas federal court alleging patent and trade dress infringement over the sale of game bags and dice cases used for role-playing games.
AP Global filed a dismissal motion dropping all claims against Amazon in relation to the products Wednesday with the US District Court for the District of West Texas. The company is also in the process of finalizing a settlement agreement with Guilt-Free Gaming.
