Altria Shows Arizona Federal Court Why ITC Sank Juul Vape Patent

Juul Labs Inc.’s nicotine-salt vaping patent was invalidated after a trade judge found products sold in 2013 already contained every element of Juul’s invention, a redacted order Altria Group Inc. filed in Arizona federal court shows.

Altria and its NJoy units filed a notice Tuesday in the US District Court for the District of Arizona updating the court on recent developments at the US International Trade Commission.
