Allscripts Accuses Former Executive of Stealing Trade Secrets

Allscripts accused a former senior vice president and two health-care technology companies he founded of stealing trade secrets and breaching contracts to sell competing telehealth and electronic health-record services.

  • According to complaint filed Monday in federal court in Wilmington, Delaware, Allscripts seeks court orders blocking defendants from breaking non-solicitation and non-compete obligations; from stealing Allscripts’ trade secrets, confidential information and intellectual property; from interfering with existing and prospective business relationships; and from injuring Allscripts’s reputation by “disparaging and denigrating” Allscripts’ “brand and professionalism”
