Advisory Group Cautions Patent Office on AI Tools, Mulls Reform

The Patent Public Advisory Committee urged the US Patent and Trademark Office to be cautious and thoughtful when applying artificial intelligence to essential agency operations, and to continue examining whether unintended consequences call for changes to the 2011 America Invents Act.
