Activision Asks Judge to End Booker T Copyright Jury Trial

Activision Blizzard Inc. asked a Texas federal judge to take wrestler Booker T’s copyright trial out of the hands of a jury, saying he failed to establish a legitimate copyright claim.

The video game company, accused of ripping off Booker T’s comic book character G.I. Bro to make a character, said Booker T. Huffman failed to produce evidence of infringement or damages in a Wednesday motion for judgment as a matter of law.
