Rapper 50 Cent demanded at least $5 million from a jewelry maker exploiting his name and likeness on rip-off necklaces to “lure” consumers into purchasing its jewelry, according to a federal lawsuit.

Curtis J. Jackson III—who goes by “50 Cent"—said TraxNYC Corp. and its founder Maksud Agadjani created “imitations of an original necklace designed exclusively for Jackson” and marketed it on social media with captions implying the rapper endorsed the product, according to a complaint filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
