3M Settles With Mask Merchant That Called Claims Distraction (1)

3M Co. settled a trademark case against Geftico LLC for alleged unauthorized sales of 3M’s N95 respirator masks at inflated prices during the Covid-19 crisis, according to a Thursday filing in Florida federal court.

Geftico suggested May 8 that 3M’s campaign against alleged price-gougers was an attempt to “take the heat off” 3M for “the debacle of selling U.S.-manufactured respirators to Canada and Latin America rather than to the United States” during the pandemic. Most of the companies sued by 3M haven’t responded to its claims.
