3M Loses Appeal Disputing Board Ruling on Spray Adhesive Patent

3M Co. failed to convince the Federal Circuit to revive its patent agency challenge to parts of a patent owned by a fellow adhesive maker.

The Patent Trial and Appeal Board invalidated most of Evergreen Adhesives Inc.'s U.S. Patent No. 7,705,056 on an aerosol adhesive and canister system as obvious, but upheld two of the patent’s claims.
