$20 Million Jefferson Starship Band Royalties Lawsuit Proceeds

Craig Chaquico, a former producer and guitarist for the rock band Jefferson Starship, advanced a lawsuit against the group claiming that he wasn’t paid more than $20 million in royalties as a California federal judge rejected a motion to dismiss.

Chaquico, who was a core member of the band from 1976 until 1991, said that he signed a termination agreement when he left that would pay him royalties on music and merchandise, but the band has failed pay and refused to provide him access to their accounting.
