10x Sues NanoString for Royalties on Genetic Research Technology

10x Genomics and closely held Prognosys Biosciences said NanoString’s GeoMx Digital Spatial Profiler, which processes biological tissues and maps the function of each analyzed substance by its location in the sample, infringes five patents for the technology.

  • 10x and Prognosys are seeking lost profits and at least a reasonable royalty for NanoString’s alleged infringement, and a court order blocking further unauthorized use of the inventions, according to complaint filed Thursday in federal court in Wilmington, Delaware
