The FIFA 2026 World Cup kicks off Thursday, and the logistics lift required to shuttle 48 teams and all their gear across the North American continent will be immense.

Over four weeks, a fleet of 5,000 vehicles will move more than 1 million pounds of team equipment between the 104 matches across Canada, the US, and Mexico, and managing the tournament’s gear and infrastructure will require enough warehouse space to hold 14 soccer fields.
