US Trade Commission Votes to Investigate Electric Skateboards

The US International Trade Commission has voted to investigate certain self-balancing electric skateboards for patent infringement, according to a Tuesday news release.

Future Motion Inc., filed a complaint Dec. 5 alleging that the importation into the US and sale of certain self-balancing electric skateboards violated section 337 of the Tariff Act, the ITC said. The company is requesting the commission issue a temporary exclusion order and a permanent general exclusion order or a permanent limited exclusion order and permanent cease and desist orders.
