The US Department of Commerce has launched an investigation into alleged dumping and illegal subsidies on solar modules in Indonesia, Laos and India, according to an emailed statement.
- Comes after petition from Alliance for American Solar Manufacturing and Trade
- Department to assess accuracy of petition
- International Trade Commission will evaluate whether actions have caused injury to US industry
