U.S. Keeps Winning WTO Cases, Despite Claim of Anti-U.S. Bias

The U.S. is winning key World Trade Organization disputes and steadily increasing its win rate in offensive cases, despite Trump administration claims that the Geneva-based trade body takes advantage of the U.S.

The U.S. win rate in offensive WTO dispute cases has risen since Trump took office to 85.4 percent from 84.8 percent at the end of the Obama administration, according to a Bloomberg Law analysis of WTO dispute cases. That compares to an 84.4 percent average dispute win rate for all WTO members.
