Tencent, JD.com Exposed to Tariff Risk: Asia Earnings Week Ahead

Chinese tech giants Tencent Holdings Ltd., and JD.com Inc. remain more exposed to US tariffs than global peers, with sector earnings expectations having weakened since President Donald Trump’s April tariff announcements.

“While US-China tensions have eased, China is still facing higher tariffs relative to the rest of the world,” according to Bloomberg Intelligence strategists Marvin Chen and Sufianti. Guidance on AI will continue to remain a key driver for the sector’s outlook.
