Swedish Drugmaker Sobi Doesn’t See Pharma Tariffs as ‘Imminent’

Drugmaker Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB’s Chief Executive Officer Guido Oelkers said he doesn’t think tariff threats on the pharmaceutical industry are likely to materialize imminently.

“It’s hard to imagine how tariffs that are speculated about can be good for patients, can be good for players and are in the interest of government,” Oelkers said in an interview. “I don’t think this is imminent.”
