Study of Key Asia Stock Technicals Signals More Gains on the Way

Asian stocks appear poised to extend this year’s big gains, based on historical analysis of technical indicators.

MSCI Inc. equity gauges for every nation in the region are trading above their 200-day moving averages for the first time since 2021, according to Dean Christians, an analyst at Sentimentrader.com.

In previous cases when most countries exceeded that mark, the MSCI Asia Pacific Index delivered a 29% annualized return, Christians wrote in a note. “This synchronized momentum from an area at the core of global manufacturing lends further weight to the case for a sustainable global bull market.”
