Samsung’s Second Case Against Ericsson Begins at Trade Agency

The U.S. International Trade Commission said it has instituted an investigation based on patent-infringement claims Samsung Electronics filed against Ericsson over telecommunications technology.

• This is the second case that Samsung has lodged against Ericsson in which its seeking to block U.S. imports of Ericsson’s networking gear
• Ericsson also has two cases against Samsung at the Washington trade agency in which it’s trying to block imports of Samsung gear
