Russia’s union of grain exporters published an indicative price for wheat for the first time, as Moscow tries to support local export prices that have recently started to recover from a slump.
The group said on Telegram that it set its “consensus indicator” for exports of 12.5% protein wheat at $240 per ton in October, with the price rising to $245 in November and $250 in December. That sets the price for October shipments slightly above current spot prices, but lays out a steep increase in the next two months.
