Russian Gas Supply Fears Spur LNG Deals in Eastern Europe (1)

Slovakian utility ZSE will meet about 30% of its natural gas requirements next year with fuel imported via Poland, easing the impact of a potential squeeze in Russian pipeline deliveries.

ZSE signed a contract with Orlen SA’s PGNiG Supply & Trading for the delivery of liquefied natural gas for 12 months from January, the Polish utility said in a statement Monday.
