RTX Boosts Outlook as Aerospace, Defense Gains Blunt Tariffs (3)

RTX Corp. raised its full-year profit outlook and reported third-quarter earnings that topped Wall Street expectations as sales and profit rose across its commercial aerospace and military hardware businesses.

The Arlington, Virginia-based company now expects adjusted profit of $6.10 to $6.20 a share this year, the company said Tuesday. That’s up from a prior forecast for no more than $5.95 and higher than the average of analyst estimates compiled by Bloomberg.
