Remy Cointreau Gains as US Recovery Offsets China Tariff Hit (2)

Remy Cointreau SA’s shares rose after its US sales recovered on stronger performance of its Remy Martin VSOP brand, offering some respite after the company’s struggles earlier in the year.

The Remy Martin Cognac maker, which is hunting for a new chief executive ahead of Eric Vallat’s planned exit this summer, said US sales in the fourth quarter rebounded strongly following a sharp decline overall in 2024.

The company’s shares rose as much as 4% in early trading in Paris. They were down about 50% in the past year through Tuesday’s close.
