Philippines’ Marcos to Visit US This Month as Rubio Touts Ties

Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. will visit Washington this month for his first trip there since Donald Trump took office, as the US highlights its deepening partnership with both Manila and Tokyo.

The visit will be from July 20 to 22, Presidential Communications Office Undersecretary Claire Castro said in a briefing Friday in Manila, adding that details including the agenda are still being finalized.
