Paramount’s ‘Mission: Impossible’ Secures China Release Date

Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning, the action movie from
Paramount Global, won China’s consent for release on May 30, according to people familiar with the matter.

The decision follows the approval in recent weeks for other Hollywood pictures to play in Chinese theaters, such as Walt Disney Co.’s live-action remake of Lilo & Stitch and How to Train Your Dragon from Comcast Corp.’s Universal Pictures.
