U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Sept. 6 announced that its Automotive and Aerospace Center of Excellence and Expertise (CEE) is now up and running in Detroit and can provide one-stop processing for automotive and aerospace industry trusted traders.
“The opening of the Automotive and Aerospace Center is another important milestone on our path toward efficient trade facilitation in the 21st Century,” Allen Gina, assistant commissioner, Office of International Trade, said in a press release. “By improving coordination between CBP and industry, we will see benefits that advance our nation’s economic competitiveness,” he added.
