Mexico said it will review a US request to evaluate whether workers at a Draxton facility in Irapuato, Guanajuato, are being denied the rights to freedom of association and collective bargaining, according to a Economy and Labor ministries statement.
- Mexico communicated its decision to the US Trade Representative office, which asked for the review under the
USMCA agreement - The review request includes allegations of dismissal of a union leader; employer interference in union acts; intimidation, harassment, threats and surveillance against workers, among others, according to the statement
