Mexico Is Prepared to Sign Bilateral Trade Deal with U.S.: FT

Mexico is open to moving ahead with a bilateral trade pact with the U.S. if Canada cannot reach a deal on NAFTA with the Trump administration, FT reports, citing Mexican Finance Minister José Antonio González Anaya in an interview.

Reaching agreement with U.S. “was important for us. Trade is important for Mexico and the issues between the three countries are different between Canada and the U.S. and Mexico and the U.S.,” he said.
