Mexico Doesn’t Want Reasons to Reopen USMCA Negotiations: AMLO

Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador supports a labor reform as established in the USMCA and needs to follow through with what the previous administration agreed to.

“We do not want there to be any motive to reopen the negotiations for the deal. We don’t think that would be convenient for the country. What was achieved and agreed is good for Mexico, and it was accepted by the U.S. and Canada,” he said during his morning conference.
