Maersk Looks to Ride Vietnam’s Container Wave: Supply Lines

Maersk and Vietnamese conglomerate Hateco expect to start construction of a new port project in Hanoi as early as July with investment of about $98 million, according to information from the Vietnamese company, which has interests spanning real estate, logistics, ports and infrastructure.

The Giang Bien inland terminal is a planned port and logistics hub in Hanoi that will support freight transport for nearby industrial zones and strengthen links to the Lach Huyen port complex in Haiphong.
