Japanese Trading House Sojitz Counts the Cost of US Tariffs

Japanese trading house Sojitz Corp. is expecting a 5 billion yen ($34.7 million) impact to its business from US tariffs.

The trading house’s North American automotive business and its retail and consumer business in Vietnam could both be impacted by the tariffs which went into effect last month, the company said on Thursday.
