Antidumping and countervailing duty orders on circular welded carbon-quality steel pipe from China will be renewed, the U.S. International Trade Commission decided according to a Nov. 7 news release.
The ITC determined in expedited five-year “sunset” reviews of the orders that revocation would likely lead to the recurrence of material injury to U.S. industry within a reasonably foreseeable time.
Chairman Irving A. Williamson and Commissioners Shara L. Aranoff, Dean A. Pinkert, David S. Johanson and Meredith M. Broadbent all voted in the affirmative. Commissioner F. Scott Kieff did not participate in the investigation.
