Imports of certain stainless steel products—including semi-finished products such as ingots and billets, and downstream products such as flanges and fasteners—will be investigated by the International Trade Commission, according to an Oct. 6 announcement (Inv. No. 337-TA-933).
Petitioners Valbruna Slater Stainless, Inc. and Valbruna Stainless Inc. of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Acciaierie Valbruna S.p.A. of Vicenza, Italy, accuse the respondents to the investigation of violating Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930 by misappropriating trade secrets.
