The value of exports from Ireland to the US quadrupled in March from a year earlier, on medical and pharmaceutical goods, the statistics office said.
The total export value rose 395% to €25.4 billion ($28.5 billion) in March, compared to €5.1 billion in the same month a year earlier. Chemicals and related products, which include pharmaceuticals, made up 94% of the total.
