Exports from Ireland to the US fell again in July, implying that tariff front-loading by some multinationals has moderated for now.
Foreign sales of goods slumped by 17% to €4.4 billion ($5.2 billion) compared with July last year, the statistics office said Monday. On a monthly basis, July marked the second month in a row of falling medical and pharmaceutical exports, one of the main exports from Ireland to the US.
