Iraq Works With US to End Reliance on Gas Imports, Minister Says

Iraq has had “good discussions” with US companies and officials about gas investments in the country, which will help it end reliance on imports from Iran, according to Fuad Hussein, the Iraqi minister of foreign affairs.

“We are desperately in need for gas for the sake of producing electricity,” he said during an interview with Bloomberg Television.
