The Commerce Department’s International Trade Administration will play a key role in 2015 in building on the administration’s progress in boosting U.S. exports under President Barack Obama’s National Export Initiative and NEI/NEXT—the second phase of the initiative.
Commerce Undersecretary for International Trade Stefan M. Selig told Bloomberg BNA in an e-mail that Commerce is leading efforts to further enhance collaboration among trade agencies and with non-federal partners in several areas that are priorities of the NEI and its successor, NEI/NEXT.
