International air fares fell further in the third quarter as airlines added more flights and competition increased, according to Australia’s
The price of economy tickets on flights out of Australia dropped between 5% and 10% from a year earlier, Flight Centre said Wednesday. Average business class fares fell 4%, or more than A$300 ($200).
Flights to the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, France, the UK and Italy saw the biggest price declines, Flight Centre said.
