Importer Challenges Antidumping Duties on Chinese Tires

U.S. importer ITG Voma Corp. is challenging U.S. antidumping duty rates on imports of passenger vehicle and light truck tires from China.

The U.S. Commerce Department recently completed a periodic duty review of Chinese tires that entered the U.S. between August 2016 and July 2017. It hit the imports with duty rates ranging from 64.57% to 76.46%.

ITG Voma sued in the U.S. Court of International Trade. The company’s May 28 complaint detailing what parts of Commerce’s calculations it’s challenging isn’t yet available.
